Our Villa Märliwald
Space to Grow in Nature

Villa Märliwald is located in a quiet residential neighborhood directly on the edge of the forest at Ruchholzstrasse 31 in 4103 Bottmingen. 

The daycare center is located on the ground floor of a magnificent 2-story villa and is spread over a net living space of 107m2. 

 

In the room design we make sure that 

• There are sufficient possibilities for movement and retreat

• The rooms allow for concentrated play on the one hand and lively play on the other hand 

• The children's independence is encouraged by placing toys at the children's level

• Our play corners are designed to be age-appropriate

• Our play materials are made of natural materials and are of high quality

 

In addition, the daycare center has exclusive use of the property's more than 1,500m2 of land. The extensive garden offers the children plenty of space to play and the driveway with sweeping area allows them to ride around on tricycles, play tractors and doll carts. In the garden there is a large sandbox, a swing, a playhouse and an adventure ship.

A covered storage area to accommodate buggies and other companions is also available.

 

In the immediate vicinity of Villa Märliwald (200 m) is the Ruchholzstrasse kindergarten, which is a big plus for the kindergarten-age children in our care. Our daycare center is very well connected to public transportation. The nearest bus and streetcar stop is just 300m away from our location (streetcar no. 10, stop Batteriestrasse).
